Hello, Following a very successful time at The Brighton Open Houses in 2017 at The Coal Hole, I would love to find some other lovely places to exhibit.
I am very lucky to live in Brighton and I am inspired by the Sussex landscape, in particular, the coastline, the rolling hills and the ever-changing skies.
My work captures those fleeting moments of light, movement and feelings. I use these objects found from beach-combing adventures, from fisherman's knots and driftwood to feathers and bottle tops, as tools and brushes to mark make, print and scratch into the work. This creates contemporary sea/ landscapes with muted tones, bold movements and a layering of the paint, ink or charcoal. The paintings are timeless and are like a distant memory.
Please do check out Instagram for my lastest work.
