I am a Brighton based photographer and I shoot exclusively on 35mm film.
I love shooting on film as there is an element of chaos added to the process where I have no control of the imperfections that can manifest during each roll of film that is used. There is also something very organic about using film which I feel has inspired my work.
I shoot scenes from everyday life that can easily be overlooked if not paying attention. Quirky moments that have a personality to them. I aim to communicate the vibrancy and uniqueness that I see in seemingly ordinary moments.
As part of a recent project of mine, I have also experimented in digital art to create vibrantly ‘skewed’ versions of my photo archive.
