My work focuses on disruption, distortion, abstraction, and iteration, primarily using Gothic architecture as the visual language. Looking at the masonry of Brighton churches and the traceries of their stained-glass windows, I attempt to capture these forms in handmade silver jewellery. My work often begins in paper, allowing the form of a simple cutout to inform the final fold of a piece or a cast shadow to determine the extent of a stretch in silver. Both sterling silver jewellery snd paper books are available
