I create extraordinary, intuitive and meaningful hand embroidery, which is highly textured and colourful. I use the art of hand stitching to tell a narrative of nature, symbolism, design and character. My background in fine art is evident in my drawings and designs and I blend colours and textures to create great detail, often using single strands of thread. I use sustainably sourced threads and fabric and like to give old threads a new life in my unique work.
