Nominated AOH May23 for AOH of the year and fringe choice awards at my first attempt running an AOH ‘House of the Green Monkey’. I produce detailed paintings of colourful Brighton life and architecture in various shapes and sizes. These can be circular fisheye views or more traditionally quadrilateral. I want my viewers to engage and identify with the multiple layered character narratives they contain. Separately, I produce more symbolist allegorical works exploring gothic themes of death and regeneration through motifs like skulls, flowers and insects. I’m ideally looking for wall space to show my work but would be happy to adapt and display smaller work and merchandise as required.
