I am inspired by my love of the South Downs and from the walks I do around Sussex and surrounding areas.
I work predominantly in the medium of linocut printing. A process I find endlessly fascinating and experimental which means that the results are varied and often surprising! I experiment with building up the image also using block printing, pastels and watercolour.
I am inspired by artists such as Eric Ravillious, Sybil Andrews and Robert Taverner who I was lucky enough to be taught by briefly.
