I am a batik artist living and working from my studio in Hove. I work either on small scale pieces on fabric or paper and wood but also create larger hangings and framed pictures . My main themes are floral and land, sea and sky scapes. I am an active member of The Batik Guild and will be taking part in some of The International Year of Batik events starting in May 2024 .
i have exhibited in my own house and that of other artists for many years at different times including The Brighton Festival Open Houses. Sadly my favourite house closed its doors last year. I enjoy demonstrating batik techniques as part of an open house involvement.
