I am an artist, photographer, and flower grower based in East Sussex, specializing in capturing the unique beauty of rare and heritage flowers. Growing my own flowers allows me to ensure their perfection while developing an intimate knowledge of my subject at every stage—from bulb to bloom.
My work is deeply rooted in collaboration with British and European growers and specialists, allowing me access to extraordinary specimens that are seldom seen. Currently, I am focused on photographing my newly acquired collection of heritage tulips, an exceptionally rare and historically significant group of flowers.
Through my photography, I seek to highlight the individuality, fragility, and fleeting brilliance of each bloom. My approach balances botanical precision with an artist’s sensitivity to light, form, and texture, resulting in images that are both documentary and poetic.
By growing, studying, and photographing these flowers, I aim to preserve and celebrate their beauty, ensuring they are appreciated beyond the fleeting moment of their bloom.
