My work is intuitive, expressionistic and largely abstract. Often I have a landscape in mind- often the hills, valleys or woods of Sussex Downs or North Wales. Other times, I see what comes in the moment, see what direction the paint takes me in, building up layers and allowing a composition to emerge. Either way, it’s a playful and mysterious and joyful process.
