Drawing with a sewing machine! Colourful quirky embroideries of people, landmarks and nature with added hand painted details. I am interested in people and places with a story to tell. I work predominantly in textiles but also with automata, Papier Mache, ink portraits and 3d textiles. I am currently exploring folktales and the empowerment of women through story and stitch. I live on the South Downs Way just 10 minutes from Brighton and am inspired by the vibrancy of the city and the beauty of the South Downs.
