“Transcendence” is a series of photographs taken at the Seven Sisters cliffs in East Sussex. Through a mix of experimental post-production methods, and physical alteration of the landscape, it depicts my own psychological response to an environment that, to me, represents the grandeur of the natural world, placing emphasis on how nature holds power over my emotional state and how, ultimately, we are intrinsically linked with the natural world.
