I am an artist who works with various media, mainly oil paint, in a vibrant and captivating style. I am influenced by realism/impressionism portraiture, taking inspiration from artists like Lucien Freud and Jonathan Yeo. I work on larger scales typically around A1/2 sized canvases. I love exploring tonal depth in my art and creating a dramatic yet romantic piece to gage the observer’s attention. My paintings vary in style slightly, with my own techniques becoming more noticeable in newer work. My main image uploaded focuses on nature and abstract realism ( inspired by Emma Black) whereas some others will present a more traditional portraiture style in comparison. I also enjoy using brushtrokes to add texture and drawing attraction to the eyes, creating a journey for the viewer to take in. I study landscapes less but also enjoy capturing rolling hills and crashing waves, making my collection a broad mix of artwork. Artist expression is something I have been drawn to since I can remember, and it would be such an honour to view my very own work in one of the beautiful homes I have visited each year!
