I am a Brighton‑based artist specialising in quilling, the art of rolling, weaving, shaping, and assembling paper strips to create intricate designs. I discovered quilling a few years ago and quickly became absorbed in its precision, versatility, and almost meditative process. Since then, I’ve explored a wide range of techniques and expanded my practice from detailed greeting cards to 3D figurines, Christmas ornaments, jewellery boxes, and other decorative pieces.
Quilling remains a relatively unknown art form, which gives it a distinctive appeal. People are often surprised by how expressive and sculptural paper can become, and I enjoy introducing them to a craft they may never have encountered before.
I work from my home in Brighton and am looking to join a Winter 2026 Open House as a guest artist. I would welcome the opportunity to exhibit my work, share this unique medium with visitors, and contribute to the creative atmosphere of the event.
