Richard lives in Brighton.
I’m a mixed-media artist working mostly with Collage / Assemblage / Photo-illustration / Printmaking.
Currently – working with my toned & hand-coloured Cyanotypes. & modified / re-purposed / re-configured hard-back books.
These are frequently embellished with small 3D objects eg. Vintage fabric flowers / Insects / Crystals / Silk threads etc. to create unique works that allude to lost & forgotten stories & esoteric notions from an arcane past.
My work could best be described as Whimsical Absurdist Surrealism & is likely to be found at the Museum of Arcane Science & Artefacts (M.A.S.A.) located at the crossroads between VooDoo Engineering & Jam Science.
