I’m a printmaker based in Hove, England and studied Fine Art at Byam Shaw, Central St Martins London. I currently produce monochrome woodcut prints, which combine figurative and semi-abstract elements. These often take inspiration from folklore, the rhythms of the human body and the natural world, mirroring patterns from seascapes, coral, trees and driftwood. I like to use dynamic expressive lines, merging abstract forms into human figures to create moody, ambiguous compositions – the details of which often reveal themselves during the process of cutting and experimental printing.
