I am a collage artist based near Lewes. My work begins with gel printing, creating richly textured and patterned papers that form the foundation of my collages. Drawing inspiration from the landscapes of Sussex, where I live, and the Llyn Peninsula in Wales, where I have spent many years, I seek to capture the deep sense of connection these places evoke.
Guided by my own photography, I combine observational detail with intuitive responses as fragments of paper come together to form new compositions. With a background in teaching art and photography, I bring both technical skill and playfulness to my practice, exploring colour, texture, and layering to reflect the beauty of everyday details and the broader shapes of nature and place.
