I use layers of cut paper, pearlescent and textured card and acrylic paints to create my intricate paper cut artworks. I love to use colour, patterns and stylised details in my work which reflects my interest in modern, cultural and traditional design styles.
Ideas are sketched, scanned and developed using Illustrator then cut using CAD/CAM and finished off by hand. Each design is individual. Some paper cuts are framed but all are scanned or photographed. My designs are giclee printed, some are framed and all are printed greeting cards. My designs are also used on tote bags and coasters and used to create 3D layered cut card Lindt chocolate holder table or tree decorations based on a Christmas theme.
