Georgie makes a combination of coiled, thrown and slab built ceramics. Her work has been developed from an interest in fantasy worlds, magic kingdoms and children’s books. She uses stoneware clay and various underglazes to create functional but playful pieces. Many of these works are inspired by the view from train windows, taking in the landscapes of the sussex coast through a dream-like lens. Georgie enjoys creating a wide range of pieces from whimsical mugs, to larger and more detail-orientated pieces such as lamps and vases.
