My work is initially inspired by nature, the ebbs and flows of the wild world on our doorstep. Each piece is reduction fired to enhance the deep vibrant colours within the glazes and bring out the rich iron within the clay body. I love to combine different techniques of wheel throwing and textured slabs pressed together. within this, I create forms which reflect the rough yet elegant wilderness.
