I handbuild and throw functional forms with textured stoneware clays.
I have been working with clay for over 25 years. Recently I have been working with a theme of where the land meets the sea. This has stimulated me to produce work inspired by three favourite local Sussex water spots…Seven Sisters, Cuckmere Haven and the River Adur.
I like to express my interpretation of these very different waterscapes, in functional forms, tiles, hanging shrines and cards…the process brings me pure joy and an inner sanctuary.
My pieces were well received in the 2025 Adur Open Houses in Shoreham by Sea.
