After a 10 year career in the fashion industry, Kay made the decision to follow a lifelong dream of becoming an artist.
Within her art career, Kay has illustrated several bestselling published books, and her work has featured in national publications. Kay is very experienced in the greeting card market and her work has featured in many branding and website projects. Kay has an illustrious client list, including Penguin Random house, Macmillan Publishers, NHS, and GOSH.
Now alongside her successful illustration career, Kay has expanded her portfolio into ceramics which has been met with great praise. All of her ceramic pieces are hand built and decorated by Kay, making them all one of a kind and completely unique. Nature, folklore and food are her main inspirations.
Kay’s studio is based in the vibrant seaside city of Brighton. Kay lived in Sweden for a couple of years and her time there still inspires her work today.
Kay dreams of illustrating a children’s book in the future.
