Ceramics for home and garden. All high-fired stoneware produced in my garden workshop. I like my pots to be at least semi-functional in some way.
I enjoy experimenting: domestic pottery – bowls, cups, jugs, dishes with an unusual slant are mostly wheel-thrown. The work I most enjoy recently is handbuilt (coiling, pinching, slabbing) to create a variety of containers for plants and flowers mostly in a groggy clay with textured earthy surface.
In the past I have exhibited in Brighton (FiveWays) and in Lewes Artwave for many years and have just had a successful Artwave in my own home in central Lewes. The photo shows a variety of ceramics as part of that exhibition.
